Congratulations TUX Mobility!
Tuesday evening October 27, the Breda Startup Award was presented. In event complex Breepark, five finalists pitched in front of an expert jury about their ambition and growth potential. The finale was broadcasted live on the new online platform of Breda Startup. The Breda Startup Award of this year was won by TUX mobility. Alderman Boaz Adank handed them the award for their startup working on clean mobility in emerging countries.
Kadans Science Partner is a partner of Breda Startup and our own Ecosystem Manager Tom Straeter was part of the jury. On behalf of Kadans he and Commercial Manager John Megens presented the TripleO Campus Pitch Voucher. The winner is invited to pitch for the interested community of the TripleO Campus, consisting of 100 creative and innovative companies and organizations.

TUX mobility develops sustainable vehicles for emerging countries where the need for clean mobility is high. In India, for example, a quarter of the air pollution comes from the tuk tuk. TUX mobility has designed the solution: sustainable tuk tuks that are also affordable using solar cells on the roof. Together with a young team with various disciplines they look at this world problem with a fresh, innovative view.
Other finalists were the Nationale Keukenzetter, Scentronix, Breda Maakt Mij Blij and Secrevo.
