Before joining Kadans at the end of 2005, Michel Leemhuis had a background in banking and gained years of experience advising companies and institutions on investment issues and financing. Afterwards, he worked for an internationally operating accountancy and consultancy organization (big four) where he focused on real estate issues, including strategy advice, financial feasibility studies, investment analyses and site selection advice. Within the management of Kadans Science Partner, of which he is co-owner, Michel Leemhuis is responsible for finance, organization, structuring and management of investment funds and acquisition and disposition.

This quote clearly shows that as a company, you have to dare to deviate from the beaten track to be successful, even under difficult market conditions. For Kadans this means that it has sought and found opportunities in specific niches of the real estate market. For the first twelve years of her career, Sindy developed into an all-round chartered accountant at KPMG. It was here that she developed her love for real estate. In this capacity, Sindy came to know Kadans as a distinctive player that offers more than just housing solutions. Focus and dedication are her driving forces.

Sindy has chosen to turn the client relationship into an even closer bond as an employee at Kadans. From her financial responsibility, Sindy’s goal is to contribute to the further expansion of success.

Steijn Ribbens is the Chief Investment Officer of Kadans Science Partner. He is responsible for investment decisions within Kadans. He is also involved in further international expansion and strategy. Besides these responsibilities, he supervises UK and FR activities as the person in charge from the Board.

Steijn has been working at Kadans Science Partner since 2015. Before joining Kadans, Steijn worked as a financial specialist in the field of mergers & acquisitions and capitalisation advisory.  He brought this experience to Kadans where he led Kadans’ first expansion. Steijn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Finance and Investments from the Erasmus University Rotterdam / Rotterdam School of Management.

James is Managing Director for the UK & Ireland at Kadans Science Partner.James joined Kadans from Cushman & Wakefield where he was Head of Life Sciences. James brings significant life science experience to Kadans, having worked on some of Europe’s largest and most advanced centres for life science innovation such as The Francis Crick Institute and Imperial College’s White City Campus. James has supported a large number of organisations, both public and private in the development of their life science strategy and will bring this extensive knowledge to Kadans to deliver new projects and support Kadans growing tenant base.With his experience, James has gained valuable insight and technical knowledge, enabling him to help Kadans to further strengthen the support of its tenants and bring forward new projects.Heeft u vragen? Marcus heeft een uitgebreide achtergrond in de ontwikkeling van commercieel en cultureel vastgoed en het activeren van communities. Hij was pionier in de coworking-industrie in Nederland toen hij tussen 2008 en 2013 zelfstandig 9 shared office-operaties ontwikkelde. Hij richtte CIC’s (’s werelds grootste innovatie ecosysteem /shared-offices en -labs operator) eerste centrum buiten de VS op en leidt nog steeds hun expansie-inspanningen in Europa. Marcus maakte deel uit van een klein (3 personen) elite team (O-team) geïnitieerd door de minister van Infrastructuur in Nederland om steden in Nederland te ondersteunen bij het oplossen van vastgelopen zeer gecompliceerde binnenstedelijke planning en multi-stakeholder ontwikkeling. Bij Kadans is Marcus betrokken bij het conceptualiseren van sleutelprojecten, ervoor zorgen dat ze een kwalitatieve markt fit hebben en dat ze de lokale innovatie ecosystemen aanvullen en versterken. Edward is Development Director for the UK & Ireland. Edward joined Kadans from Kennedy Wilson where he was a Senior Development Manager. Edward brings a wealth of construction experience to Kadans with delivery expertise in complex construction projects, from feasibility to completion in a variety of sectors in the UK. Sandrine worked at ING Bank as Corporate Lending Advisor and at Cofinimmo (the foremost Belgian listed property company) where she gained extensive experience in Transaction & Asset management and Business development of (healthcare) real estate.  In her role at Kadans, she is the point of contact of the tenants and stakeholders in Belgium. Her mission is to optimize, expand, and drive value of the real estate portfolio.  Sandrine holds a diploma of Economics (Master’s degree) of the University of Namur, Belgium.

As gatekeeper of the Spanish market for Kadans, Miguel is responsible for the expansion, strategic alliances, and developments processes. Mark is the Country Lead Asset Management at Kadans for the UK and Ireland. Mark is a Chartered Surveyor and joined from Bruntwood where he was their Head of Property Management. Mark has experience in core property and facilities management activities as well as procurement, supplier management, ESG and Sustainability. Prior to Bruntwood, Mark worked at CBRE in Dubai and in the UK managing properties for Pension Funds and Developers. As well as being active with the RICS, Mark also sits on APC Assessment Panels and is a APC Mentor offering support to internal and external candidates. Digna Wonink is benoemd als HR Manager binnen Kadans Science Partner. Haar aandachtsgebied raakt de gehele HR-dienstverlening, waaronder instroom en doorontwikkeling van medewerkers en ook uitstroom, zowel voor Nederland als voor de overige Europese landen.Digna heeft Personeelswetenschappen gestudeerd aan de Katholieke Universiteit Brabant. Na haar studie heeft ze gedurende ongeveer 20 jaar ruime ervaring opgedaan als HR business partner/manager in diverse rollen in diverse sectoren.Ze heeft een grote passie voor HR en de bijdrage die zij kan leveren voor medewerkers aangezien dezen van cruciaal belang zijn voor het succes van een organisatie.Heeft u vragen? Liselotte is de Legal Counsel van Kadans Science Partner. Zij is breed inzetbaar, van specifieke vragen aangaande het huurrecht of bouwrecht tot de meer corporate aangelegenheden van het bedrijf. Daarnaast beschikt zij over een groot netwerk van juridische dienstverleners voor kwesties die een meer gespecialiseerde aanpak behoeven.Liselotte heeft haar studie rechten voltooid aan de universiteit van Utrecht. Na haar studie is zij vijf jaar als advocaat werkzaam geweest bij een middelgroot advocatenkantoor in Breda. Zij is daar opgeleid in de algemene praktijk met een focus op het ondernemingsrecht. Aangezien het bedrijfsleven Liselotte’s interesse had getrokken, heeft zij vervolgens de overstap gemaakt naar een groot retailbedrijf (Texaco) en vervolgens naar een bedrijf gespecialiseerd in de bouw en exploitatie van volledig geautomatiseerde koeldiepvrieswarenhuizen, alwaar zij een internationaal opererende juridische afdeling heeft opgezet. Dat is wat zij ook wil gaan doen voor Kadans; Een goed lopende juridische afdeling opzetten om te zorgen dat Kadans zo goed mogelijk geadviseerd wordt en zich daarmee vol kan richten op alle uitdagende en interessante projecten in de toekomst.Heeft u vragen?
