Tuesday afternoon during the PROVADA in Amsterdam marks the start of the development of a new multi-tenant building on Leiden Bio Science Park. Michel, Leemhuis, CEO Kadans Science Partner, and Michel Leender, Director Real Estate Leiden University, signed a research agreement at the stand of municipality Leiden.
Kadans Science Partner is going to develop and operate Plus Ultra Leiden, a new multi-tenant building with a focus on Life Sciences. The new building will be located on the Kop van Leeuwenhoek, a subarea next to the entrance of Leiden Bio Science Park.
With its 15,000 m2 surface of offices, laboratories and general facilities to strengthen the innovative ecosystem of Leiden Bio Science Park, this new building provides a solution to the growing need for tailor-made accommodation on the park. By realizing extensive posibilities for meetings, lunch and presentations, knowledge sharing and contact between people are stimulated, resulting in a decrease of the gap between start-ups, scale-ups large established companies. Plus Ultra Leiden will be highly flexible in terms of layout, to meet every future tenants’ needs.
Kadans aspires high sustainability standards, aiming at a BREEAM-NL Excellent certificate for the new state-of-the-art laboratory and office building.
