Steijn Ribbens – CEO
Steijn Ribbens is the Chief Executive Officer of Kadans Science Partner, responsible for leading the company’s strategic vision and overseeing all operational activities across its European portfolio. With a strong background in investment banking, Steijn combines financial expertise with a deep understanding of the science and innovation real estate sector.
As Chief Investment Officer, Steijn played a key role in Kadans’ international expansion across European innovation clusters, strengthening the company’s position as a leading developer, owner, and operator of specialised real estate for the life sciences and R&D sectors. As CEO, he remains focused on driving sustainable growth, fostering long-term partnerships, and delivering environments that enable innovation and collaboration to thrive.
Sindy van Hooijdonk – CFO
For the first twelve years of her career, Sindy developed into an all-round chartered accountant at KPMG. It was here that she developed her love for real estate. In this capacity, Sindy came to know Kadans as a distinctive player that offers more than just housing solutions. Focus and dedication are her driving forces.
Michel Leemhuis – Executive Chairman Management Committee
Michel Leemhuis is the Executive Chairman Management Committee of Kadans Science Partner. He focuses primarily on continuing to drive growth and managing key ecosystem stakeholders including occupiers, partners, educational establishments such as universities, as well as government and trade bodies.
Before joining Kadans at the end of 2005, Michel Leemhuis had a background in banking and gained years of experience advising companies and institutions on investment issues and financing. As the former Chief Executive Officer of Kadans Science Partner, his leadership was instrumental in Kadans’ international expansion across Europe’s innovation ecosystems, reinforcing the company’s reputation as a premier developer, owner, and operator of specialised real estate for the life sciences and R&D sectors
