Igniting innovation: Werkhalle Nord opens at At the Park Aachen
On 9 April 2025, Kadans Science Partner celebrated the opening of the Werkhalle Nord building at At the Park Aachen together with the City of Aachen, the RWTH Collective Incubator, RWTH Aachen University and the City of Aachen Economic Development Agency.
Collective Incubator, a co-working platform for students, researchers and companies from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH Aachen University, has leased around 4,200m² of Werkhalle Nord. Collective Incubator offers co-working and development space for research-based start-ups and companies on approximately 1,200 m² of workshop and machine space on the ground floor.
Aachen has an excellent research landscape. Not only the RWTH Aachen University, but also the Aachen University of Applied Sciences and RWTH University Hospital call Aachen home. With a total of seven research institutes based at RWTH, 16 research clusters and over 580 high-tech companies, Aachen is one of the most important high-tech regions in Europe. Aachen is especially interesting for companies that want to be at the forefront of research and development in the future fields of advanced energy systems and materials science.
