Kadans Science Partner completes its first building in France, at Campus Grand Parc
Villejuif 17 October 2025 – THE HIVE, the first building developed by Kadans Science Partner in France, has just been completed! Offering 25,000 m² of laboratories and offices dedicated to biotechnology and oncology innovation, The Hive plays a major role in the development of Campus Grand Parc, France’s leading biocluster.
Designed by renowned architectural firms Baumschlager Eberle and Same, styled by BSTLL, and constructed by Eiffage Construction Tertiaire, The Hive is a multi-tenant hub offering state-of-the-art facilities for laboratory operations and flexible office environments.
With BREEAM Excellent, E2C1, and WiredScore Silver certifications, The Hive reflects the ambitious environmental and sustainability commitments of Kadans Science Partner, Sadev94, the City of Villejuif, and the Grand Orly Seine Bièvre territory.
At the heart of the building, a striking atrium provides a dynamic central space, surrounded by event areas and service facilities designed to benefit both building tenants and the wider health innovation ecosystem.
The fit-out of laboratories and offices is underway, with the first four tenants — Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster (PSCC), Orakl Oncology, Sanofi, and Oranomed — scheduled to move in from the end of 2025.
Supported by the Île-de-France Region and in partnership with the Paris Saclay Cancer Cluster, Kadans is also launching a 3,000 m² Innovation Centre within The Hive. Fully furnished and equipped with tailored services for start-ups, the centre will open in December 2025, with announcements about the first resident companies expected in the coming weeks.
The Hive will officially welcome the public in December 2025.
